Overview

Management of Weight and Transformation The Ayurveda Programme uses the fundamentals of Ayurveda, a traditional Indian medical system, to provide a holistic approach to obtaining and maintaining a healthy weight. To assist long-term weight loss and general wellbeing, this programme combines customised dietary and lifestyle changes, herbal medicines, detoxification methods, and stress management.

The programme starts with a thorough evaluation of a person's physical constitution (dosha) and health history to identify the underlying factors that contribute to weight gain. Based on the results of this evaluation, a personalised plan is developed that calls for a balanced diet that takes into account the dosha of the individual and includes fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and spices with metabolism-boosting characteristics.

The programme includes dietary advice as well as Ayurvedic herbal medicines to promote digestion, lessen cravings, and improve metabolism.

These herbs, including Triphala, guggul, and ginger, are used in conjunction with other treatments because of their reputation for helping people lose weight.

To eliminate toxins from the body and enhance general health, detoxification methods like Panchakarma may also be used. The programme places a strong emphasis on the need of consistent exercise, stress-reduction methods like yoga and meditation, and enough sleep.

The Weight Management & Transformation Ayurveda Programme seeks to achieve lasting weight loss, increased energy levels, and better general well-being by treating the causes of weight growth and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

Sample Daily Schedule

  • 7 am: Optional morning Yoga or Meditation session
  • 8.30 am: Personalised breakfast or prescribed juice or herbal tea
  • 10.30 am: Prescribed Ayurvedic Treatment (Shirodhara, Udwarthana, Pizhichil, Navara Kizhi etc.) or Wellness movement session (Meditation, Yoga, Pranayama)
  • 12.30 pm: Personalised lunch
  • 3 pm: Nature Walk
  • 4.30 pm: Prescribed juice or herbal tea
  • 5.30 pm: Spa treatment (Abhyanga, Pada Abhyanga, Mukh Lepa, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Massage, Purifying Massage, Nourishing Body Polish & Wrap, Nourishing Face Ritual etc.) followed by an Aromatic Bath
  • 8 pm: Personalised dinner
